What's the capacity? +

We host intimate gatherings for up to 25 seated guests. Larger private events available on request.

How do I secure my booking? +

Choose your booking type and reserve your date. We'll invoice you within 48 hours. Once your 50% reservation fee is received, your booking is confirmed. If we don't receive payment within 48 hours, the booking will be released.

Can I bring my own food & drinks? +

Absolutely. Our kitchen includes a fridge, 5-hob stove, microwave, and double oven. Outside catering is welcome. We don't provide cooking utensils, and the space must be left as you found it.

What's the cancellation policy? +

30+ days: full refund or free reschedule. 15-30 days: 50% refund or one free reschedule. 7-14 days: non-refundable, £25 admin fee for reschedule. Less than 7 days: forfeited. No-show: full amount charged.

Is parking available? +

Paid parking on nearby streets. Free after 6:30 PM and all day Sundays. 30-minute loading zone at the entrance for drop-offs.

What about setup and pack down? +

Please allow enough time for setup and pack down within your booked slot. All activities including cleanup must be completed within your booked time.

Can I bring a DJ or play music? +

Yes, light music is welcome. DJs welcome for background-style sets, but sound must stay moderate and finish by 10 PM. We don't supply speakers or PA — your DJ must provide their own.

Do you have a full kitchen I can use for filming? +

Yes — 5-hob stove, double oven, fridge, and microwave. Perfect for recipe content, baking videos, and food photography. At £45/hr (content rate), it's a fraction of the cost of dedicated cooking venue hire in London.

1. Deposit and Booking Confirmation

A 50% deposit is required upon booking to secure your date and time
Invoices valid for 48 hours. Unpaid bookings are automatically released

2. Booking Times

Hire period begins and ends at the agreed times in your confirmation
Setup and breakdown must occur within the booked time frame

3. Grace Period & Late Fees

30-minute grace period after the agreed end time
After grace period: £50 per additional 30 minutes

4. Changes to Booking

Changes must be requested at least 7 days in advance, subject to availability

5. Cancellations

30+ days: Full refund or free reschedule
15-30 days: 50% refund or one free reschedule
7-14 days: Non-refundable. £25 admin fee for reschedule
Under 7 days: Forfeited, no rescheduling
No-show: Full booking amount charged

6. Studio Usage

Studio must be left as found. Cleaning fees may apply
Do not move heavy furniture without permission
Rubbish left behind: £50 deducted from damages deposit

7. Liability

Hibiscus Studio is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage during hire.

8. Prohibited Activities

Smoking, illegal substances, and unsafe activities are strictly prohibited.

9. Damages Deposit

£200 refundable damages deposit required per booking
Returned within 1-3 working days after event inspection

By paying the deposit, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
